Nobilis Gumboro 228E

A live vaccine against Gumboro Disease (Infectious Bursal Disease) for use in chickens. This product may only be prescribed by your local veterinary practitioner from whom advice must be sought.

Product Information for Veterinary Healthcare Professionals

Live, freeze-dried viral vaccine containing Gumboro disease virus strain 228E (>2.0 log10 TCID50 per dose). For reconstitution and administration in the drinking water.

Vaccination programmes for infectious poultry diseases such as IB, ND or TRT are recognised as offering a certain amount in timing flexibility. However, with Gumboro vaccine, administration time is more critical. Where Gumboro disease is a threat, one wants to vaccinate chicks as soon as possible. For vaccines to be effective, the MDA level needs to have declined sufficiently to enable full immune stimulation. This is where the specifically designed Deventer method of calculation can be used to help demonstrate the optimal time for Gumboro vaccination.

For uses, dosage, contra-indications and warnings please consult product leaflet. Further information is available on request. Use medicines responsibly.
